RESPONSIBILITY ON THE TEAM
Brian serves as a member of the Industrial Group, where he is responsible for
the sale and leasing of warehouse/distribution and manufacturing facilities as
well as land throughout Upstate South Carolina. This includes several redevelopments
of older manufacturing facilities. Brian also serves as a member of the Grubb
& Ellis Logistics Team.
CAREER SUMMARY
Brian has been involved with sales, marketing and transaction services with the
Industrial Group since 2001. Brian joined Grubb & Ellis|The Furman Co. in
2000 in the research department and has extensive experience in the fields of
marketing and research.
Brian has recently been involved with the successful re-development and re-tenanting
of a 315,000 SF industrial facility in Spartanburg and the disposition of the
800,000 SF former Winn Dixie warehouse. Companies Brian has worked with include:
G & K Services, Wessin Transport, Penske, Gates Rubber Company, Tire Centers,
Erhardt & Leimer, Gutter Guard, and Home Medical Systems, Liberty Property
Trust, Penske, and Tyco.
EDUCATION
Brian graduated from The University of South Carolina with Bachelor of Science
degrees in Marketing and Real Estate. While in college, Brian, interned with
Colliers Keenan, a commercial real estate firm in Columbia, SC and Dorey Publishing,
a commercial real estate research firm in Atlanta, GA.
PROFESSIONAL COURSES, AFFILIATIONS, INTERESTS
Brian has earned his CCIM designation. He is a member of the Greenville Board
of Realtors Association, and serves on the Commercial Steering Committee. He
also serves on the Improvement Committee at Northwood Middle and is a Deacon at
First Presbyterian Church. He has two children and enjoys football, camping and
golf.
