Craig serves as a member of the Retail Group, specializing in landlord/tenant
relations, site acquisition and asset disposition. Craig has extensive experience
in development, brokerage, and finance.
CAREER SUMMARY
Before joining the Grubb & Ellis|The Furman Co. team; Craig built his experience
with companies such as JP Morgan Mortgage Capital in Atlanta, GA; Smith, Scott
& Associates of Charlotte, NC and Tidewater Construction Corporation in Norfolk,
VA.
Since joining Grubb & Ellis|The Furman Co. he has closed transactions throughout
the Upstate of South Carolina, as well as over 65 markets across the United States
representing corporations such as Ryan’s Restaurant Group, Buffets Inc., Tire
Centers, and Dunkin Brands. Locally, he has worked with numerous retailers and
landlords.
EDUCATION
Craig earned a MBA; concentration in Real Estate & Finance, from Terry College
of Business, University of Georgia, Athens, GA. He also holds a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC.
PROFESSIONAL COURSES, AFFILIATIONS, INTERESTS
Craig is a licensed Broker in North Carolina, Georgia and South Carolina and
is actively pursuing his CCIM designation. He is the former Young Leaders Chair
for the Upstate chapter of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and remains actively
involved with ULI. He is also involved with The International Council of Shopping
Centers (ICSC). He currently serves on the Board of Directors for A Child’s Haven
and Water of Life Ministries.
