RESPONSIBILITY ON THE TEAM

David serves as an Account Executive to The Furman Co., Insurance Agency, LLC. His responsibility is to maintain the quality of service to existing accounts  while growing his account base by introducing future clients to the wide array of insurance services being offered within the private and corporate sectors.

CAREER SUMMARY

David joined The Furman Co., Insurance Agency, LLC in 2009. Prior to this, he worked within the field of sales and project management for over 5 years, specializing in the construction and waste management industries.  He has experience in working with commercial and industrial businesses throughout Upstate South Carolina.

EDUCATION

David received his Master of Construction Science and Management from Clemson University in 2004.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Presbyterian College in 2001.  While there, he was an active member of the Theta Chi Fraternity, Inter-fraternity Council, Student Government and Student Union Board.

PROFESSIONAL COURSES, AFFILIATIONS, INTERESTS

David is currently completing his Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation through the International Risk Management Institute based in Texas. 

David is a native to the Greenville area and is a supporter of Young Life and Bel-Aire Inner-City Ministry.  He spends his leisure time playing golf, hunting, fishing, as well as quality time with his family.  David, his wife Laura, and two children attend Grace Church of Greenville.
