RESPONSIBILITY ON THE TEAM
Tommy serves as a member of the Retail Group where he specializes in the acquisition
and disposition of retail and investment properties. His proven experience with
investor and corporate representation has given him the ability to assess each
clients needs and develop a plan which accommodates their specific goals. Tommy
has utilized his experience in the restaurant industry which has lead to the sale
of more than 15 restaurants properties in excess of $15 million. Some of his client
relationships include: Buffets, Inc., Fortress Investment Group, Realty Income,
and Ryan’s Restaurant Group Inc.
CAREER SUMMARY
Tommy has been active in the Commercial Real Estate industry since 2001. He began
his career in the research department of Grubb & Ellis|The Furman Co. where
he instituted the development of a multi-family database covering more than 350
multi-family properties in the Upstate of SC. Tommy served as an Assistant Property
Manager with Grubb & Ellis|The Furman Co. from 2002-2004 and as a Property
Manager with Ryan’s Restaurant Group Inc. from 2004-2006. During his tenure at
Ryan’s, Tommy was responsible for managing a portfolio of 300 + Ryan’s Family
Steak Houses and Fire Mountain Restaurants in 23 states. In 2006, Tommy rejoined
Grubb & Ellis|The Furman Co. as a member of the commercial brokerage division.
EDUCATION
Tommy received a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from Clemson University
with an emphasis in Real Estate.
PROFESSIONAL COURSES, AFFILIATIONS, INTERESTS
Tommy is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Only 6 percent of the
estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners in North America hold the
CCIM designation. He is a member of the South Carolina CCIM Chapter and the Greater
Greenville Association of Realtors. Tommy is married and has one daughter. He
is a lifetime resident of the Upstate of South Carolina and enjoys golf, fishing,
scuba diving, and traveling. |
